Spring Time!

WOW HAVE I BEEN BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! I apologize that I have not updated my blog in a while.  There was so much to do from home renovations, BFF visit with her family, Easter, having fun at Memaw and Papa's house and so much more.  The pictures will explain it all!

There are lots of fun and exciting things to look forward to in spring.  First and foremost, cleaning!  Clean babies and clean houses.

I had the pleasure to stage my parents house that is out on the market.  It was tons of fun and I hope you have fun viewing the updates.

kitchen:

We updated the appliances and paint color and added some green plants and home decor. Cost 2,450 including the brand new appliances and paint color.  There is now a stainless steel refrigerator too.

family room:

We did no updating, just added furniture and home decor.  We purchased couch and sofa slip covers, pillow covers, pillows, curtain rods and drapery.  Total  cost was approx 200.00 ( all the other stuff is mine or my parents).

foyer:

We added furniture, pictures, a big rug and touched up trim.  Total cost approx 60.00.

I only put up pictures of the "baby" room and the office/5th bedroom.

It was a lot of work and we hope it pays off.  P.S. Goodwill has AWESOME deals.  We scored 2 faux tress for 6.99 each!  Keep in mind we used pretty much all our own furniture.  The living room furniture is pretty old, but nothing slip covers can't spruce up!


Spring time!  Flowers Flowers Flowers!  We planted some of my favorite flowers today.  Tulips!  Yes, I love tulips.  I may go back and buy my calla lilies too!

Nothing beats spring like clean....

Nutella just seams to hit the spot in all the right places.  So much for being clean.  Don't expect a child to only take a "little bit".  Of course, it's a very tempting and an easy addiction (thanks mom).

Mackenzie got to see Sammy and Abby!!! We had LOTS of fun...

With spring time comes Easter time!!!  I explained to Mackenzie that the Easter bunny comes and hides eggs.  She is soooo excited that he is coming to HER house!  I also tried to explain to her that Easter is about Jesus and that is the main reason we celebrate Easter.  She knows Uncle JJ is with Jesus.

I finally came up with a name for my photography!  I have decided to dedicate all my work to my brother.
